The use of our facility is a gift to our members (or child/grandchild of a member). A $550 fee ($700 if the reception is held in our facility) provides honoraria for the officiating minister, sound technician, custodian, stage set-up crew, and wedding coordinator (see below for a description of their responsibilities). This sum does not include the staff musician.
Our wedding coordinator meets with the bride and/or groom prior the wedding at least twice; helps to direct the rehearsal and wedding; keeps in touch with church personnel involved with the wedding; opens the building prior to the wedding and locks up after the wedding.
➢ Saturday weddings must be scheduled so that the following are met:
o No ceremonies after 4:00 p.m.
o You must exit our facility no later than 6:00 pm unless your reception is being held here also. No receptions will be held in the Warehouse.
➢ Alcoholic beverages and smoking are not allowed on the premises (indoors or outdoors).
➢ Only dripless candles may be used and the floor must be protected with plastic.
➢ No flower petals may be thrown inside the building.
➢ No glitter or rice used inside or outside the building
➢ Saturday weddings must be scheduled so that you will be able to exit our facility no later than 6:00 pm unless your reception is being held here also. No receptions will be held in the Warehouse.
➢ Violation of any the regulations listed above will result in additional charges.
➢ I understand that prices are subject to change if custodian is required to spend an inordinate amount of time cleaning after the wedding. In that instance, you will receive a bill for the assessment payable upon receipt.
➢ Sound/Light technician will determine if one technician is sufficient to meet your technical needs. All musicians, vocalists, and the speaker must rehearse with the sound technician.
➢ Musical Instruments and risers will not be removed from the stage.
➢ Any slide presentation will be given to the media technician at least two days prior to the rehearsal or there may be an additional charge.
➢ Madison Park Christian Church wedding coordinator must be used for all weddings.
